Clay Jensen, a high school student who receives a package full of cassettes, when he listen to them he discovers it the voice of Hannah Baker, a student from his school – also the one he liked- that took her own life two weeks earlier.
He discovers that in those tapes Hannah tells her story from her perspective, as the title says it is also may be the reasons of why she has attempted suicide. While Clay listens to them he discovers thing that never accrued to him, and trying to find the answer of whether he’s one of the reasons or not. Clay finds out that he wasn’t the only one to receive that package. While Hannah’s story is being told throw him. He began to have that sense of regret for not reaching his hand to her for help. Wishing he’d had the chance to get to know her more than he heard.
I rated the book five stars; it is a true epic story, which felt like a scarier virgin of Pretty Little Liars. I highly recommend this book for everyone.
